Dr. Jonathan R. Weiser
Dr. Jonathan R. Weiser is one of the founders of the Physician’s Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is fully trained in all aspects of modern plastic and reconstructive surgery including: cosmetic surgery of the face and body, breast surgery including reconstruction, augmentation, and reduction, suction-assisted lipectomy, body contouring and all laser procedures. Additionally, his reconstructive experience includes microsurgical techniques of the hand, repairing trauma, cancer, congenital problems such as cleft lips and birthmarks, and all other aspects of reconstructive surgery.
A Florida native, Dr. Weiser graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He also attended the University of Florida College of Law and the University of Florida Post Baccalaureate Program before embarking upon his Doctor of Medicine Degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. The doctor completed full training in General Surgery at Lincoln Medical Center, culminating in his term as Chief Resident. As a General Surgeon, Dr. Weiser completed a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Subsequently, Dr. Weiser completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Holding licenses in both the states of Florida and New York, Dr. Weiser is board certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. He is a member of the following professional organizations:

Dr. Weiser has been in practice since October, 1992 and has additional office locations in Weston and Pembroke Pines for the convenience of his patients.
Dr. J. Craig Uecker
Dr. J. Craig Uecker is one of the founding physicians of the Physician’s Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a community-based practitioner focusing on a comprehensive approach to cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. As a native of Hollywood, Florida, Dr. Uecker has enjoyed establishing his surgical practice in his hometown and has been in practice since July of 1994.
Dr. Uecker received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Harvard University and graduated Cum Laude. He was awarded the Henry Lamar Scholar-Athlete Most Dedicated Award and the Brian Piccolo Scholar-Athlete Scholarship due to his participation in the Harvard football program. He received his medical degree at the University of South Florida, College of Medicine where he was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. The doctor performed his general surgery residency and plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Uecker holds medical licenses in both Texas and Florida. He is board certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. He is a member of the following:

In addition, Dr. Uecker has reconstructive surgical experience in repairing congenital problems such as cleft lips and birthmarks, craniofacial reconstruction and hand surgery.
